It is hard for me to believe we went the whole of 2024 without posting. There is a lot to fill in for you guys, so we should be posting regularly again for a while, at least. I don’t have much of an excuse, but I battled a lot of shame after our last big trip in 2023. It was a fantastic trip and gave us a lot of insight into what vanlife could be like, but it was not kind to our bank account. We were not able to do any work on the van for months after that trip and then we ran into the holiday season. I told myself I didn’t want to post until we made some headway on the van build, but it wasn’t until February 2024 that we actually did any more work on the van and it was May when we got to the next project. I was sad and a little embarrassed that we weren’t on the road yet and had no launch date in sight.
I am happy to inform you all, we are officially hitting the road this April! We will fill you in on our reasoning soon, but I wanted to break the seal and get an update out before I procrastinate for another year. Some other topics to look forward to are:
